My Ex-Husband Went To Court Without Me, Asked For My Children To Be Taken Away From Me –Korra Obidi
Nigerian-born Singer and Dancer, Korra Obidi has revealed, in a facebook video, that her ex-husband has filed for the full custody of their two children and spousal support in court without her knowledge.
Korra Obidi disclosed that her ex-husband, Justin Dean went to court to file for an Ex Parte order for their children to be taken away from her permanently, effective immediately, without her presence in court. She added that Dean also requested that she starts paying him child support once he has the full custody of the child.
She said she had no idea until her lawyer reached out to her. Korra Obidi said she has now realized that not talking on social media is only a sign of weakness and intimidation. She said she needs help and prayers.
Korra Obidi added the Judge denied Dean’s request for full custody of the children after he filed for an ex parte hearing –a court proceeding that is done with respect to or in the interests of one side only or of an interested outside party– and she had no idea.
“Today has just been an emotional rollercoaster. A lot of things have been going on in my life that I have been very quiet about, especially with the divorce ongoing; it is still not finalized. Today, something incredible that has really shifted my perspective based on everything that has been going on with my divorce just happened”
“I just want to bring to light, a couple of things of things that have gone on since I have been mute and quiet; but it is not really helping anybody to be quiet. I just got from my lawyer that my ex-husband has filed for my children to be immediately taken away from me but was denied by a judge. He also is asking for spousal support.”
Korra Obidi laments that her divorce is the longest and most stretched one she has ever seen. She appealed to her fans to keep her in their prayers.
