BBNaija’s winner, Phyna opens up on having baby out of wedlock
25-year-old Josephina Otabor, aka Phyna, winner of the just concluded 2022 edition of the annual Big Brother Naija reality TV show, has now cleared the air about having a baby outside wedlock.
Anonymous Tales recalls that while in Big Brother’s house, many speculated that Phyna gave birth to a baby girl outside wedlock after photos of Phyna and the alleged child were posted on social media.
Now clearing the air in a recent interview on the E-splash podcast aired on TVC, Phyna pointed out that the child is not her biological daughter.
When asked about the baby, Phyna said: “My baby girl, yea she is fine. I have not seen her, she is with my aunt. It’s not like she is my child o. She’s my elder cousin’s child. His wife died. Since then I have been taking care of her. A lot of people think she is my child and yes she is. I am planning on bringing her with me I’m less busy.”
A graduate of engineering, Phyna who hails from Edo State has acquired a new house.
The reality star took to her Snapchat to share the good news with her fans.
The hype priestess had splashed millions on a Duplex in Lagos.
Sharing the good news also on her Instagram page, she appreciated God for the blessing.
Phyna wins BBN
After nine live eviction shows, Phyna had emerged the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7.
The Level 2 housemate beat 28 housemates to emerge winner of the Level Up season.
Phyna been declared the winner of Season 7 show, leaving Bryan as the first runner up.
At the grand finale on, Sunday, October 2nd, the evicted housemates were Daniella, Chichi, Adekunle, and Bella, with Phyna and Bryann as the top two housemates battling for the N100m grand prize.
The 25-year-old contestant who is one of the fans’ favourites was born in June, 1997 and hails from Edo State.
During the show, Phyna mentioned in several instances that she had it rough growing up. She came from a family where everyone had to hustle on their own. As such, she grew up independent, doing several jobs.
The TV star also mentioned that part of her hustle included being a self-acclaimed high priestess.
Phyna, walked home with the brand prize of 100million, 50million in cash and 50million as prizes from sponsors and a car.
